From Robots to Rockets: STEAM That Follows Your Interests

All programmes can be delivered 1:1, in small groups (max 3-4), as part of our Learning Hub, in schools, or online.

Specialized programs. Infinite possibilities. All designed around how neurodivergent minds learn best

Robotics

Real computing in action - build, code, control.

Robotics brings coding to life. Instead of abstract programming exercises, you're building actual robots that move, sense their environment, and respond to your commands. You see immediately whether your code works - and when it doesn't, debugging becomes a puzzle to solve rather than a failure to avoid.

What you'll learn:

  • Coding fundamentals (block-based progressing to text-based)

  • Control systems - motors, sensors, remote operation

  • How hardware and software interact

  • Problem-solving through iterative programming

What you'll do:

  • Build robots using BBC micro:bit, LEGO, and other platforms

  • Program robots to complete tasks - from simple movements to complex obstacle courses

  • Work toward the BCS Level 1 Robotics Award (nationally recognised qualification)

Perfect for:
Tech enthusiasts, logical thinkers, students seeking recognised qualifications

Think Like An Engineer

Experiential learning through hands-on problem-solving

This programme presents a series of engineering and design challenges using everyday materials - cardboard, Meccano, LEGO, modelling clay, giant construction sets. You'll work through real problems like bridge building, tower design, go-kart construction, furniture making, and flight experiments.

There's no single "right answer" - students find their own solutions, developing problem-solving confidence through trial, error, and iteration.

What you'll learn:

  • Design thinking process (plan, prototype, test, refine)

  • Engineering principles through practical application

  • Maths and physics concepts made tangible

  • Resilience and willingness to learn from failure

  • Teamwork and communication (in group settings)

Perfect for:
Hands-on learners who prefer doing to listening, natural builders and tinkerers, students developing social skills through collaboration

Game Design & Coding

Turn game ideas into reality. Visual programming (Scratch) to text-based (Python, JavaScript). Design characters, mechanics, levels. Publish your games. For gamers wondering 'how did they make that?'

Inventor Club

STEMPrototype.jpg

Open-ended engineering. Access tools, materials, guidance—then create whatever you imagine. For self-directed learners bursting with ideas who need support to execute them.

Claymation & Animation

WhatWeDo_Animation.jpg

Create stop-motion magic. Design characters, build sets, shoot frame by frame. Learn editing, sound design, storytelling. For visual-spatial thinkers who love stories but struggle with writing.

Custom Programs

We're always developing new programmes based on student interests and emerging technologies.

Recent projects have included: 3D printing and CAD design, game design and development, electronics and circuit design, furniture making and woodwork, animation and digital storytelling.

How You Learn With Us

School Visits & Tailored Programs

We come to your school for half-day to multi-week programs. Perfect for alternative provision units, PRUs, or SEND schools wanting specialized STEAM input

Format: Group sessions, co-taught with staff, demonstration teaching

1-to-1 Specialist Support

Completely bespoke. Your child's interests, pace, space, and needs drive everything. Maximum flexibility, maximum personalization.

Format: Your space, our space, or community venues

Mobile Learning Hubs

Small groups (3-4 students) in managed spaces. Equipment, tools, and expertise come to you. Home, community venue, or neutral location.

Format: Weekly sessions or intensive blocks

Online Options

Game design, coding, and some robotics work well online. Perfect for students who learn better remotely or need flexible scheduling.

Format: Online sessions with project-based assignments

All delivery formats are adaptable. Sensory needs? We accommodate. Energy patterns? We flex. Communication preferences? We adjust.

This is learning designed for you, not you fitting into our system.

Where STEAM Learning Leads

Our programs can be open-ended creative exploration or work toward specific qualifications and outcomes. You choose the path."

Pure Exploration

Follow curiosity. Make for joy. Build confidence and skills without assessment pressure. Sometimes learning for its own sake is exactly what's needed.

Portfolio Development

Create work that contributes to GCSE D&T, A-Level Product Design, art portfolios, or university applications. Document process. Showcase outcomes.

Career Pathways

Build skills for apprenticeships, employment, or further education in engineering, tech, design, or creative industries. Real projects = real experience.

Many students combine all three. That's the beauty of project-based STEAM.
